The financial hole is there, in the use of private clinics, in subcontracting, in doctors leaving the public system to become even richer in the private sector.
Instead of putting an end to this permanent abuse of public funds, the CAQ is cutting our jobs and services to the public. This is unacceptable.
By December 2024, 775 doctors in Quebec had left the public plan, compared with 7 in the other 9 provinces.
The CAQ insists that the private sector is cheaper and more efficient.
The MUHCEU, the FSSS and the CSN continue to mobilize for a TRULY PUBLIC healthcare system.
