Dr. Saba launches petition to keep the hospital a hospital. – McGill University Health Center

“There is no question of accepting that the Lachine Hospital cease to be a community hospital with an emergency, intensive and specialized care,” said Dr. Saba, who for years has successfully defended the mission of our Lachine Hospital.

The CSN Central Council has decided to support the MUHC union and Dr. Saba in their fight to keep our hospital. The population needs this hospital.

Dr. Saba explained to us that the closing of emergency rooms increases mortality because of the delays in reaching institutions that are several kilometers away.
