Enough with contempt Mr. Legault.

The government may try to flatter health care workers by calling them “guardian angels,” but apart from doctors, the government despises everyone.

The government offers premiums to a very small minority who work in our health care system.  Yet everyone is considered an “essential service” and everyone has to report for work under COVID.

Without clerical staff, how can the hospital function? 

Without the kitchen, who’s going to prepare the patients’ food?

Without the sterilization department, what will the doctors work with?

Without our electricians, plumbers and other trades, how long can our facilities operate?

Without patient transport, without security, without laundry and all of our 250 essential job titles, what’s left of our health care system.

We demand equal premiums for all job titles.

The temporary premiums don’t fix our salaries, which haven’t even kept up with inflation for over 20 years…!

We are still demanding $3.00 per hour from April 1st 2020 for all job titles.
