Posted by Following the last union elections, we held the first meeting of our new Union Council.
All the members are very motivated to move forward, and we have made decisions to involve each member of the Council in the union work.
There are still a few Union Delegate positions that have not been filled and we invite those interested to contact the executive or the union offices if you wish to get involved.
Since this is a 3 year collective agreement and is retroactive to April 1, 2020, there are only 18 months left in the current agreement. It is therefore essential that we start thinking together now about what our bargaining priorities will be.
